Gear Rental
All rental equipment will
- be described on your invoice
- remain property of Netspeed while in the care of the client
It is the clients responsibility to ensure that the rented equipment
- is kept in good working order and any damage etc is reported to Netspeed immediately
- is returned at termination of the connection agreement
It is Netspeed's responsibility
to perform any required maintenance* and or gear replacements*/upgrades required during the rental period.
* specifically excludes power spike and lightning strike damage which you should ensure is covered in your own insurance policy.
All equipment rentals are subject to
- Rental equipment availability from time to time
- Netspeed Canterbury management approval (which may be declined without any explanation)
Netspeed reserve right to charge the client for damage or loss while the rental equipment is under the care of the client.
NetSpeed Wireless Broadband (2 - 50 Mbps) Plans...
Standard rate card prices plus $30 per month rental for a basic set of equipment including a standard outdoor radio receiving unit and a wireless router.
NetSpeed 4/5G Broadband (2 - 50 Mbps) Plans...
Standard rate card prices plus $25 per month rental for a basic set of equipment including a standard outdoor antenna and a 3/4G wireless modem/router. If the connection is a modem only connection $10 to $15 per month depending on modem model.
NetSpeed Fibre Plans...
Standard rate card prices plus $10 per month rental for a basic set of equipment, a standard wireless modem/router.
NetSpeed VoIP Phone Systems...
Standard rate card prices plus $5 per month rental for a basic ATA (phone adaptor).
If required, additional rental gear may be added to your monthly plan for other equipment required to complete your installation, for example wireless links, extra wireless access points etc.
If you would rather purchase the equipment at install time
Ask your Netspeed representative to quote you a purchase price for the equipment.
If you decide to purchase the equipment after initially renting at install time
The purchase price will be based on the current Netspeed retail price for the equipment less 50% of any rental payments made, in respect of the rental equipment, in the preceding 24 months.
Rent to Own
From time to time we may offer rent to own packages so you can spread payment of your equipment over a period. Monthly payments for Rent to own packages will be based on the total price of the equipment divided by the number of months that the agreement is set over (usually 3 or 12 months). Other conditions above apply until all payments have been completed.
